The trip will take Jake and his riding partner, Dylan, 2,500 miles from the southern boarder of Idaho to the northern border of Idaho and Canada. Riders have to be completely self-sustained and prepared for temperatures fluctuating from freezing to triple digits.

Later this year, Jake will be doing the Tour of Idaho which will bring him 2,200 miles through the Malad Range and Selkirk Mountains. The tour is an unsupported ride with no pre-planned help along the way.
Some consider it be the most difficult dirt bike ride in the United States, which will take 10 days to complete the route.
In preparation, Jake loaded up his Husqvarna and headed to Damascus, Virginia to put in a 250-mile day of riding in all possible conditions.
Brown Mountain isn't a walk in the park. It rained on us most of the 150 miles we rode that weekend and the majority of those miles were illuminated only by our headlamps.
