Iron Mountain Trail | Damascus

Later this year, Jake will be doing the Tour of Idaho which will bring him 2,200 miles through the Malad Range and Selkirk Mountains. The tour is an unsupported ride with no pre-planned help along the way.
Some consider it be the most difficult dirt bike ride in the United States, which will take 10 days to complete the route.
In preparation, Jake loaded up his Husqvarna and headed to Damascus, Virginia to put in a 250-mile day of riding in all possible conditions.
The day started in freezing temperatures with snow and ended with some good ol' pitch black trail riding.
Check out the photos below which chronicle the day and feel free to extend any long-distance adventure riding wisdom that you've picked up along the way.
