Our friend, Michael, brought his ‘82 FXR by the shop last week and we noticed our 04+ Sportster Sissy Bar might just fit. We grabbed one off the shelf and, sure enough, we got it to work!
We had to drill new holes, put spacers on the back and use longer bolts than the Sportster hardware. But, with minimal effort, FXR folks out there can mount our 04+ Sportster Sissy Bars!
