Was converting my shovel to mid pegs and jockey shift, useing Prism slingshot clutch and brake control. Running out of time to have the bike ready for party at the pen (because why not wait till last minute to make changes) and didn’t want to grind paint off the frame to weld the tabs on for the mid pegs. Ordered up this mid peg mount and it worked great. Easy to install and worked great with the foot controls. Everything I’ve ordered from prism has been great quality and actually fit, and if you’ve ever built an old chopper, you know most parts don’t. Plus it’s always a plus to support a company making parts right here in the USA
I havent tried them yet but they look sweeet. Hope i can stand 225lbs on them. Will report back what happens.
Good quality can’t wait to get them fitted up for what I need
These are great if you want mid pegs. No welding required. On my bike the exhaust is in the way for frame mounted pegs anyway. I wanted mid pegs so I can change my riding position on long trips. I have an Ultima open primary on my Shovel which is in the way for the left peg. So I cut the left side off and mounted the peg to the backplate of the primary. Works great. Careful with the shoelaces ‘though.
Been looking for some mid pegs because my hardtail frame doesn't have the tabs on the lower tubes. This did the job. I have STD cases which are beefier than stock so I had to grind some clearance on the left side of the mount but it works and you hardly notice.
