We are incredibly stoked to show y’all the latest product we’ve been working on. It’s a Sportster Foot Clutch and Jockey Shift set-up. This kit eliminates the need for a clutch cable and it additionally allows you to bolt any Ratchet Top jockey shifter to it. Coming soon! Yes, it's a prototype and yes, the design will only be improved from here. Our goal was to get a landing page up for those of you interested in this kit to help answer a few questions. FAQs
- We are currently putting a heavy focus on making this kit work for 1994-2003 Sportsters. The kit for these years will be sold with the entire derby cover. After we nail the design for these years we will adapt for both earlier and later Sportsters and these will be sold with the inspection/ derby cover as well. We would eventually like this to work with 4-speed Sportsters but that's still TBD.
- We don't know what the price point will be as of yet as we are still perfecting the design and aesthetics. Sign up for our email notifications to find out more details about this product.
- Currently we are only designing this to work with mid-controls. Eventually we'd like to have a kit for forward controls but we aren't actively working on it at this moment.
- You will remove your existing clutch cable and no, it doesn't need modified. Our kit eliminates the need for a cable entirely and an appropriate screw and o-ring will be included in the kit to seal this area. When the product is available for purchase, we will release how-to videos to make the entire installation very easy and smooth.
- We are pushing hard to make this happen as quickly as possible. We think early May is reasonable for the 1994-2003 Sportster version. Every single part in this kit is designed by us and custom made. so please be patient.
- We aren't taking pre-orders because we never want to overpromise and under deliver. We want to make sure this kit is 100% dialed and proven out before selling to the public.
- Yes it will fit other jockey shifters as long as its for a Ratchet Top transmission. We always want to support other brands in the motorcycle community. If you like their jockey shifter better than one's we sell, BUY IT! We purposely designed this product for you to make your own and unique.
- We have designed and tested this kit to work with both our mid control kit and factory H-D mid controls. If you use any other brand, we think these should work, but we can't gaurantee it!
