Headlight Hi/Lo Beam Switch

Hi-beam won't connect with switch unless the screw head is backed with a washer. Setting the metal contact less deep into the switch body where it meets the screw head seems like it would resolve the issue on the manufacturing side.
And yeah the build quality itself is flimsy; I just got lucky with it not snapping when installing, removing and reinstalling the switch.

First one I ordered, grounded out in the rivet sticking through the back. Also, a post broke when taking it apart. The replacement was redesigned to get rid of the shorting problem. But I still have issues with getting the switch to stay on when in the hi-beam position. If pressed hard, it seems to wedge and hold contact, but is easily disconnected.

Loved it but had to wire a handlebar switch in for inspection in my state and the housing part broke when I removed the switch. Hopefully a redesign or material change is in the works! Until then it’s high beam all the time

Haven’t had a high bean in years. This is great.

First one shorted to the case. Received a redesign and it doesn’t work unless you hold your finger on it. I placed a thin washer and it tried seemed to work then quit again. So I gave up. Great customer service just needs a redesign.
